Hi, I’m Stacy and I’m glad that you are here! Welcome to my Personal Development blog! I love growing as a person in so many ways and I have always enjoyed helping others to grow too. Whenever I learn something new that really improves my life I cannot wait to share it with people!
I love to learn, I am constantly reading to better myself. I love magazines, books, audio books, blogs, educational television (and some not so educational!), podcasts, forums, and much more. I have started numerous blogs and even a forum on different topics to help and inspire others.
ABOUT ME
I have always wanted to help others and that is why I got my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. I could have gone into something like computer science because I have long enjoyed programming my own websites and learning computer languages. It’s like a puzzle to me and I have always enjoyed math puzzles, Algebra and Statistics were two classes that I thoroughly enjoyed.
But my true passion has always been helping people and getting my degree in Psychology was really fun and I learned a lot about people.
I have been able to use my training in psychology quite often since graduating over a decade ago. I have worked with children in various settings and currently I run a small preschool out of my home. I am also a wife, mom and a “bonus mom” (I would say stepmom but that has such wicked connotations and my stepdaughter says that I’m not wicked!) and an entrepreneur!
I have been reading books and articles on the topics of marriage and parenting for years in order to better myself in those areas, and as a new entrepreneur I have been reading books and articles on that topic more recently too. My quest to learn and grow is a continual process!
I am also a thyroid cancer survivor!
MY PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
I am excited about this blog so that I can share person development strategies and tips that I have learned along the way. I have learned a lot about personal development from both the purely personal side and also from the professional side as well. It is exciting to grow as a person in many different areas of my life.
I look forward to continuing on the path of personal development and also helping others along the way. It’s exciting to grow personally but helping others exciting in a whole different way! I feel like I get more back than I give and that is an amazing feeling!

I’m also excited to be involved in the network marketing industry which is an industry which requires constant personal growth! In the corporate world you can get away with not growing personally but it is truly exciting to be in an industry which encourages you to grow as a person and inter-personally. It is encouraged because it is necessary to be constantly growing as a person in this industry to stretch yourself and your limits, to push yourself further than you thought possible.
It really is an exciting journey and you never know what it will bring you. When you face your fears and allow yourself to grow more than you thought you ever could or would you will feel like you have accomplished something great – because you have! It’s a wonderful accomplishment and a wonderful feeling! Just as wonderful is the feeling of helping others accomplish their goals, watching them grow and succeed!
