  • Hi Stacy,
I stopped accepting guest posts altogether on my blog except for the one’s that I personally request from a blogger. Inevitably someone still pitches me for a guest post on my blog and they request 2 do follow backlinks to a Corporate website or something else that is not a personal blog site.

Good luck with your novels and all the other things on your plate too. :)

    Hi Justin,

I can certainly understand that! Guest blogging is so popular right now that we need to be careful of who we have guest post.

Thank you for the well wishes! I wish you a happy new year!

  • I know you’ve been getting very busy writing Stacy and I know that’s your passion. I can understand not really wanting to let this blog go so I think you’ve made the right choice.

Good luck with your novel and finding guest posters. I have a feeling you’ll have them lining up girl.

    Hi Adrienne,

Thank you. It’s definitely a balancing act and it’s a good problem when you can’t make the time for everything you want to do! :)

    Have a great week!

  • It all sounds great Stacy! As an author myself I can certainly appreciate the challenges you face trying to balance it all – especially with homeschooling your children. My sister homeschooled her kids and I was amazed with all the work involved, and so very proud of her. Like Justin, I rarely consider accepting guest posts for my blog, although I was talked into serving as a feature contributor on another personal development blog. Plus my writing has gone in a new direction with my latest book, so I guess this is already shaping up to be the year of change and growth. How exciting!

    Hi Marnie,

Great point about resting! We have to take care of ourselves first or everything else will suffer!

    Happy new year!

  • Agreed; since the Panda and Penguin updates last year guest blogging really went crazy. We also get far more dodgy requests to posts than genuine and acceptable ones.
I would be keen to do a post for your site on video marketing though Stacy if you would be open to it?

    Hi Neil,

Yes, between that and many big names like Danny Iny promoting the importance of guest blogging, it’s really taken off.

You’re more than welcome to submit a guest post!

  • Guest posting really is a big help most especially to sites who want to earn good reputation and you really have a very interesting way of grabbing the attention of the people like me.

  • Guest posting will be an awesome option for me. I have a site which deals with technology
but I would like to write about all facets of life, like psychology, and relationship.
Your guest post guidelines are reasonable and feasible. Thanks for giving us the opportunity.

  • Hi Stacy!

Wow! You certainly have a lot going on. Kudos to you for being able to handle so much writing and even home schooling your kids! I’d love to hear about that. Any chance you could share a quick article on managing all that writing and teaching?

I wish you a prosperous and happy new year! :)

  • Multi-tasking is not one of my fortes. Since I embarked on doing the tutoring of my two kids myself, I have left behind my blogging for quite a time, only posting when I really have something to say, and sometimes posting just to keep the blog alive. This year, I’m trying to resurrect my blog and see what comes out of it.

I envy you for your energy and motivation to do what you love Stacy. :)

  • I think I should follow the same guidelines. I’ve been getting way too much irrelevant comment and apparently my spam detector doesn’t deem it as spam.

  • Hey Stacy .
I can understand multitasking is not at all easy . All the very best with novels and the guest blogger idea. Guest blogging interests me so would check your guidelines.
