“You will never change your life until you change something
you do daily. The secret of your success is found in your
daily routine.”
– John C. Maxwell
The quote above shows why habits are so important for achieving success and how important it is to be aware of our habits. We must take control of our habits.
Otherwise they will control us.
Along the same lines is the importance of the slight edge. This is where making small almost insignificant choices daily create the makings of success slowly one day at a time, building on each day to create a larger success over time. Clearly using the slight edge is how to successfully bring a new habit to life.
Each choice that we make is important even if it seems infinitely insignificant. But as those choices are made over and over they have a compound effect on our lives. This is something that successful people are keenly aware of and use to their advantage.
Do you want to be one of the successful people or one of the unsuccessful people? If you want a life lacking in success then you needn’t read further.
But if you desire to live a life of success then this book is for you!
The activities in this book will take less than a half an hour each day for 28 days although you can choose to spend more time on the day’s activity.
Each daily activity is designed to give you tools to turn your desired habit into a real habit by the end of 28 days if you are consistent and participate each day. Of course there is room to take a break if you need a day off, just pick up where you left off.
A new habit will greatly assist you in going where you want to go because habits are something that you don’t put much thought into as they are natural!
You may want to:

Congratulations on the Kindle book Stacy. Ah, building habits. What a great topic and I’m always telling people that if you want to change you need to do it everyday for 30 days in order to make it a habit. Not always easy but well worth the effort.
Best of luck to you with this book Stacy.

Nice post Stacy. To form a new habit, consistency is the most critical factor. Unless you commit yourself and put the effort required, then you are simply wasting your time.
Love the choice of the picture for this post too!
