I recently had the privilege of taking a course that literally changed the course of my life for the better! The levels of excitement and joy that I have are hard to believe.
I’ve taken plenty of personal growth challenges, read many of the books and blogs but was never able to find my true passion until I took this course. This course was much deeper than anything else out there I’ve gone through and it has literally changed my life.
I’ve completely changed my goals and the way that I am spending my time. You may have noticed a decrease of posts and response to comments from me recently.
Part of that is due to the fact that I am spending a lot more time researching the many options involved with self-publishing and the time spent writing my first novel to publish.
I’m thrilled to be working on a novel! That was my dream since I was a child and it was buried and forgotten as soon as I graduated college and entered the “real world”. Growing up, writing was such a huge part of my life. I started writing chapter stories when I was about nine years old and continued through college.
I’ll share more about that with you in another post as this isn’t the focus of this post. I just wanted to give you a glimpse of what it is that I’m so excited about and what has changed my life.
The course
The course that I took was a course by C.S. Hughes called New Economy U. He literally went from poverty to becoming a millionaire and a big part of that reason is that he understands the cycles of the economy.
Right now much of society is bemoaning the state of the economy. This isn’t just a little “blip” in the economy this is a massive shift into a new economy. The old systems don’t work anymore and they are going to work anymore. Waiting around for things to back to normal is fruitless.
Creating success for yourself in the new economy – whether you want to be a millionaire or just free of debt – is going to take a major mind shift due to the major shift in the economy.

I can see why you’re so excited. The introductory video was very encouraging, and I can’t wait to view the others. So many people seem to be talking about getting the economy back to normal, but I’ve never had faith that this would ever happen. I am so excited for you Stacy. So glad you are following your passion and writing your first novel. I have no doubt it will be a wonderful read.
I’ve been trying to tell people this for some time now. I admit being fairly ignorant myself about finances and the economy but after this last collapse I couldn’t help but start paying more attention to things. What I learned was kind of scary actually. We can never go backwards, we have to continue moving straight ahead. That’s one of the reasons I joined the opportunity I did because I knew this would benefit me for years to come.

Sometimes the right message comes along at the right time for each of us. As the saying goes.. “when the student is ready the teacher appears”.
My background is CPA then financial planning business but my real education started when I met and worked with Robert Kiyosaki. He predicted the changes that would happen long before they did. We all need to be aware of the changes.
I think the intro video is great.

Thanks Stacey for sharing this. Losing an income in my home made me take a long look at my finances, where I am with them and how it will pay for everything. It’s my drive for what I do now and what I hope to attain in the future. The economy has made people either get real with money and start living within their means. Will it get better, I think so, but it has to be full circle where a majority of jobs lost come back and help to those still underwater with this housing crisis.
