If you commute to work – or anywhere else – on a daily basis then you undoubtedly have extra stress in your life that would be eliminated if the commute was gone.
I remember when I had a commute and I don’t miss those days! I remember the stop and go bumper to bumper traffic for 1-2 hours out of my day. It was very stressful and unfortunately in those days I didn’t have the skills for proper stress reduction. At least I had a job that I enjoyed at the time or I would have been one big ball of stress.
Stress really does have a really negative impact on our health. It can raise blood pressure, it can weaken our immune systems, it can cause us to have sleep problems, and the list literally goes on and and on.
