That’s wonderful, Keith! How is it going? Are you looking to self publish or find a publisher?

I think I’ll be going the self-publish route. How about you?

I like the way you said that, Dreams are bigger than limitations. I didn’t have a lot of dreams as a child, but as I grew up, I realized that not only did I have dreams, but they were pretty cool too. I wanted to write and boy have I ever been doing that. Having an opportunity to publish online and write and write and write has been a really good things for me. And since it was one of my dreams, it is even more fantastic.

Hi Stacy,
Really inspiring post, though I don’t remember any childhood dream for which I was actually serious. But yes I can dream now and would try to accomplish it.

Survival i think is what makes life worth living but that’s where it starts. Before you look at the material possession that gives you some sort of comfort in life you should always go by what you need first to survive another day.

About promoting a book. I am not a writer, and on top of it, my first language is Bulgarian. So I don’t have the advantage of the shortcuts. I know a lady and she is great in promoting new books. I know her from one of my spiritual inner circles. Her name is Kathleen Gage. The website is the same – the name spelled together dot com.
Blessings and be well

Who doesn’t want to live a life full of excitement and joy? I always wanted to be a writer and with a blog I can be! I have more plans for a kindle book as well. It’s good to connect with those dreams.

What a wonderful story! It’s easier than ever to be a published author. I don’t usually leave a link in the comments section but here is what I used: http://bit.ly/lgbRUy My book became an Amazon best-seller so it might help you too! So glad you are going after your dream!

Stacy, I used to dream in my sleep that I could fly, really like superman. I don’t remember any other dreams, because I was a reader and went wherever a book took me. Now I wish I could still dream about flying, but it left me when I grew up, like what happened to Wendy in Peter Pan. As for what I wanted to be when I grew up, I wanted to be a mommy and I still am a mommy. Only the kids have all grown and gone. So I do whatever.

Wow! Great tip. The first thing that comes to mind is that I always wanted to get married. I just got married this year, so I can check that one off my list. I, too, used to want to write a novel someday when I was in junior high school. I’m not sure now if that’s really something for me, but maybe some day.

Well, it was a bit tricker in my case, because the dream that I used to have turned out to be not worth it. I mean when a dude of 16 I had the dream of entering a specific university for the values I thought it could give me. I failed in joined the university and I was really disappointed back then. But over time, as I started to get more info as for the actual values and quality they gave, it turned out that I was able to achieve pretty much the same leven all by my own. So, my childhood dream came true without letting me know that it was actually happending. So, dream carefully, because dreams come true.

As said in the song, “You may say I’m a dreamer but am not the only one.”
All of us are dreamers but of course we don’t live a life that is only full of it but also with adventures leading to making them come true. That’s where excitement and joy come along with.
By the way, how did you make your image hover over with a Pinterest button? I’m so interested to borrow your idea.
Thanks.

HI Stacy, good for you. You know, that’s one downside to getting older. We have seen as many failures as success, but because the mind clings to negatives more than it does positives… it can be a little more difficult to brush away the cobwebs.
I think some of our innocent dreams from years past still carry the same power as back in the day we had them. We just need to ‘dust’ the negatives and get back down the the initial idea… then go for it.
good for you for ressurecting your dream.

Initially for years I wanted to teach people realistic self defense as there was alot of bs in that world, and to give them something effective.
I’m not really into that anymore, but it’s interesting that thinking about it now, my current dream is helping people heal with Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), it’s kind of the opposite thing, but behind it is similar intentions.
Since i’ve started working on it consistently, letting myself be passionate about it i’m feeling better in general, it’s awesome.

Wow, I also had the same dream as you Stacy, I also dreamed of being a published writer. I’m expressing my creativity with my blog articles. I’ve been trying to get in touch with what my ultimate dream, my life purpose is. Maybe it’s time to revisit that old dream.
People spend so much time on the tiny little pleasures such as TV,food, Facebook; but that is nothing compared to the complete fullfilment that your dream brings to you.

Hi Stacy,
Would you say that your lost ‘dream’ is the same thing as your purpose? Or does this apply to multiple dreams, where your purpose is the culmination of all of your dreams? It’s best to forget that you’ve grown up and remember the times where everything and anything was possible to you. No more limiting beliefs!

I guess all the things around you are being considered when you grow older that limits your dream. Hope to have a spirit like a child who is so pure and alive.

You probably never forget the dreams you TRULY want in life. You only avoid them, unfortunately. Cause those things you truly want always stay in the back of your mind, kinda gnawing or whatever. It’s those goals that probably most important to start working on.
