I first heard about LegalShield(SM) quite a few years ago when someone had told my husband about how they had a membership and it was really helping them. My husband was really excited about it and wanted to get the membership. When I learned more about what the service offered I was excited to sign up too.

History
It began in 1969 when Harland Stonecipher was hospitalized from a serious car accident that he did not cause . He spent his life savings defending himself in a legal nightmare even though he had full insurance protection! That was when he realized that it was money and not rights that gained people access to the legal system. He then made it his life’s goal to make it so that every person would have legal protection accessible for any legal matter no matter how large or small so that nobody else would have to go through what he went through.
He worked hard to create what is now LegalShield today, a strong network of quality attorneys who treat their clients well. They are already paid for the services that they provide so they are able to truly work for the best interest of the client instead of doing what they can to get the most money out of them.
It is such a great system with an amazing benefit package that a large investment firm called MidOcean has recently invested billions of dollars into the company because they see the enormous potential of this service. Personal Experiences
We have had many wonderful experiences with our LegalShield provider law firm. Each time that we have talked with them they have been extremely respectful and helpful. They always make sure that they have answered all of our questions and that we understand the advice given. Numerous times they have called after hours to talk with us.
These are some of our personal experiences with our provider law firm.
My husband had received a speeding ticket shortly before we signed up for the service and the attorneys helped him to get it moved to a non-moving violation so it didn’t affect our insurance premium or his driving record at all. He was so excited about it that he told me we were never going to get rid of the service. It didn’t cost us anything aside from the small monthly fee of less about a dollar a day to get that taken care of. Another time he got a ticket the attorney got the ticket completely thrown out and my husband didn’t even have to show up in court!
We were also able to call up our provider law firm and receive advice on our mortgage and we were able to make the best decision possible from the information that we received. We searched high and low and did not find the information that the attorney was able to direct us to. This definitely helped us to save our home at the time!
I had an issue with a hospital incorrectly billing me instead of my insurance company. I talked with the billing department at the hospital countless times with no resolution. So I called our law firm and was able to get legal advice on how to get the issue resolved. After receiving the legal advice I was able to get the issue resolved completely.
My stepdaughter had an issue with a very prominent online company, she had signed up for a trial period and she called to cancel her trial within the proper time. The company did not cancel her trial but they also billed her *again* for the service and would only refund the first bill. She called the provider law firm and they promptly sent a letter to the company and the issue was resolved very quickly.
Those are just a few of our stories. We have heard countless other stories from others who have used their provider law firms and they are just as amazing and many are much more amazing! I’ve heard many people share about their experiences with tears because they said the experience changed their lives for the better.

This is the first time I’ve heard of LegalShield… It makes so much sense. We have insurance for health issues, automobiles, our homes, life… why not for the possibility of incuring costly legal services? This is a great concept that I will bring up with my husband. We had some creepy neighbor issues a couple of years ago, and this service would have come in handy!

Yes it does make sense when we consider the other types of insurance that we have. Though when you use other types of insurance (specifically life and auto) you get penalized. With this, they encourage you to use it every month!

It is disgraceful that in certain circumstances, justice is only available to those who can afford it (how ironic) and just because a person does not happen to have as much money as their legal opponent they are left at a huge disadvantage.
