Do You Ever Feel Stressed or Anxious? Help a Blogger Out!

I realize that to ask if you ever feel stressed or anxious is a no-brainer. I know that we all feel stressed or anxious at one point or another!

That was actually my point in asking the question, I would like pick a lot of brains on the topic of stress and anxiety for a moment.

You see, I’m working on a project that is going to help people attack and conquer the stress and anxiety in their lives which can hinder relationships, business, networking, productivity, health, and so much more.

I really want to know what questions you have about stress and anxiety, any question at all. It can relate to any aspect of either one:

You can ask questions about the symptoms:

  • Physical symptoms include increased heart rate, trouble breathing, nausea, chest tightness, etc.
  • Emotional symptoms include worry, dread, fear, etc.
  • Behavioral symptoms include avoidance, procrastination, verbal outbursts, passivity, etc.
  • Mental symptoms include self focus, blank mind, inability to focus, destructive thoughts, etc.

You can ask questions about how to handle stress or anxiety in certain situations. Just because we feel stressed or anxious does not mean that we are victim to either one until the stress or anxiety decides to leave us. There is a lot that we can do to help ourselves, even if the stress or anxiety is at severe levels.

You can ask questions about how to prevent stress or anxiety. We can’t always prevent every occurrence of stress or anxiety but we can do a lot to reduce the rate of occurrence.

You can ask how stress and anxiety differ from each other.

Imagine yourself taking a course or reading a guide about how to deal with stress or anxiety. What would you like to see in that course or guide? What would you expect to see? How would you specifically hope that it would help you in your life?

Please share your questions, thoughts, ideas, etc. in the comments section or by using the contact form above. Please also share this post with your followers as I would like to gain as many questions and opinions as possible.

Also if you would like to further help me out with this special project please join my mailing list as I will be posting the remainder of my questions on my mailing list. (I don’t send out many mailings, don’t worry about your inbox getting cluttered!) You can join by typing in your information on the top right for my free gift or by using my newsletter tab at the very top of this page.

Thank you!

To your success,

Stacy

  • Stacy, what an incredible project this must be. I am sure it will be very rewarding and educational.

I will think of a specific question or so.

To be honest, I have probably suffered much of this through these last few years, and believe I have a good handle and many answers… but there are always those things that become automatic that you don’t often think about discussing. For these hidden questions, I will sift my imagination.

I’ve come a long way in hitting bottom and bouncing back. I think for me, it has a lot to do with gratitude and the love for my kids and family that helps smooth the rough waters. (just threw that in as a possible resolve for some people).

Love your passion to help others. We DO have so many of the same goals.

Thanks for all you do and share!

  • This is a cute idea for a blog Stacy. You are tapping into deep emotions and connecting with deep worries that people have. I’m jealous. It’s the sort of blog I like to write! LOL
    Stress for me…..
Physical symptoms = a pit in my stomach right in the solar plexus. I lose my appetite. The blood in my veins feel link iron.
Emotions = panic, fear and GUILT! Ridiculous on the guilt side. In reality there is nothing to feel guilty for.
Mental symtoms + like a marathon in my brain drains me of energy.

I’m fortunate that all this occurs rarely these days. I know what it is and manage to see it off fairly well. It’s not easy, but I know I can do it.

  • Great idea about asking questions for the project you are doing!

I have come a long way in managing stress but some ten years ago, I would be glad for information on how to balance a young family, being a wife and having children and work all at the same time. I felt so lost and alone back then. I could barely turn to anyone because most of my friends were busy in their careers.

My questions would be what is the first thing I can do, what can I do for self help on my own and if there are any forums or support group I can turn to.

All the best to your project!

It’s funny but I cope up with stress with eating, eating, eating. Did I say eating? I know it is not healthy, but it works for me.

    Hi Stacy,
I don’t have a question but I do have a suggestion. Stress and anxiety can be reduced or even entirely eliminated with the help of furry animals such as dogs and cats. I think it’s called animal therapy. By petting them, your blood pressure comes down and helps you relax.
I think this can be a nice addition to your project – feel free to use it if you like.

    Hi Johanna,

Thank you for sharing that animals help eliminate stress. :) I will keep that in mind for my project! I have found that holding babies can have a similar affect – assuming the baby isn’t crying!

  • Stress and Anxiety. I’ve had lots of those. Doing all my best to minimize it, though. I really envy people who seem not to worry. We all tend to get stressed out, not because of work or the physical activity we do everyday. It’s because of worry. I think anxiety is a natural reaction to problem of life. It helps us face challenging situations. I guess the best way to minimize worry is to prepare and analyze the problem carefully.

I agree on this one “if you ever feel stressed or anxious is a no-brainer.” Every time I am stress, I can’t manage my work because my head is not responding. Stress makes me go crazy!!!!

Hi again Stacy… I have many theories on why we suffer from anxiety, diet, society in general, they all contribute to our anxiety. Society itself causes an insidious amount of anxiety as a symptom, as changing society is a long way away I guess we have to fight the symptom. Personally I like to treat my anxiety with a good diet and supplements, vitamins targeted for the brain such as Gink Bilboa, Omega 3 and Phosphatidyl Serine. On top of that a good life coach, psychotherapist, counsellor etc. and you should see great success in your battle with anxiety. My last tip I guess is a catch 22, thinking about anxiety will cause you more anxiety. Think about it :-) .
